William G. Coburn, 85, passed away on Friday, September 6, 2019 at his home in rural St. Joe, IN.  He was born in St. Joe, IN to the late Victor "John" Glenn Coburn and Ila Laverne (Monroe) Coburn.  He married Onalee (Hanes) Coburn in Hamilton, IN on August 17, 1962, celebrating 57 years of marriage.

Surviving are his wife, Onalee Coburn of St. Joe; son, William D. (Rosanna) Coburn of Orland; daughter, Amy (Robert) Hillegass of Waterloo; grandchildren, Brandon Gilbert, Bryan (Nigora) Gilbert, Brittany Gilbert, and Jacob (Molly) Hillegass; great grandchildren, Miriom Gilbert, Riley Hillegass, Raelyn Hillegass, and Madison Gilbert; sisters, Leatrice J. Lothamer of New Haven & Leah J. Isham of Garrett.  He was preceded in death by a grandson, Nicholas Hillegas and a brother, Calvin Grant Coburn.

Mr. Coburn worked as a millwright at Dana in Auburn retiring in 1988.  He was an Army veteran and a member of the Butler American Legion Post 202 for 25 years.  He served as Color Guard Commander and was a life member of the Auburn Moose and Butler Eagles.
