Virginia M. "Ginny" Burns, 80, died Sunday, Feb. 15, 2015 at Betz Nursing Home in Auburn, IN. She was born in St. Joe, IN on February 6, 1935 to the late Andrew & Agnes (Tuto) Herschberger. She married William "Red" Burns on March 30, 1963 in West Virginia.

Surviving are her husband, William "Red" Burns of St. Joe, IN; a step son, Jeffrey Burns of Plainfield, IN and a brother, Melvin Herschberger of St. Joe, IN. She was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Carroll Herschberger on October 10, 2014.

Ginny worked in the office at General Electric and also at City Wheel in Akron, OH from where she retired. She loved to garden and work in her flower beds. She will be lovingly missed by those who loved her.

Calling will be held on Thursday, Feb. 19, 2015 from 4-8 pm at Carnahan-Baidinger & Walter Funeral Home in Spencerville, IN. Services will be held on Friday, Feb. 20, 2015 at 10 am at the funeral home. Pastor Jim Plattner will officiate.
