Vinnie Martin, 98, died Thursday at Hickory Creek Nursing Home in Hicksville, OH. She was born in Angola, IN to the late Claude Jonas & Grace Emma (Saltsman) Meyer. She married Douglas F. Seeman on Sept. 1, 1937 and he died on Dec. 26, 1939. She married Cecil Martin in Angola, IN on February 14, 1942. He preceded her in death on January 4, 1973. She had one son, Doug Seeman of Hicksville, OH and he preceded her in death on February 23, 2011.

Surviving are 4 nephews and her best friend, Nancy Moore of Butler, IN.

She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Eleanor Buss and Helen Friend and 1 nephew.

She worked for over 40 years as an Executive Secretary for North American Van Lines in Ft. Wayne, IN. She left there in 1960 to go to beauty school and then opened the Fountain Beauty Salon in Antwerp, OH in 1962 and retired from that in April of 1973. She was a 76 year member of the Waterloo Eastern Star.

As per her wishes, there will be no calling or services. Private burial at Riverview Cemetery in Newville, IN.
