Victor Duke, 80, died Tuesday at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Ft. Wayne, IN. He was born in Pontotoc, Mississippi to the late Tom Duke & Viola (Baldwin) Wright. He married Jeanette Davis on December 20, 1957 in Hernando, Mississippi and she preceded him in death on March 24, 2006.
Surviving are his children, Virgil (Regina) Duke of Spencerville, Michael Duke of Auburn, Terry Duke of Auburn and Ginny (Larry) Leins of Auburn; grandchildren, Dustin (Alexis) Duke, Amanda Duke, Landon Leins, Brooke Leins and Kyle Duke; great grandchildren, Henley Duke and Braxton Leins; special friend, Verda Turner of Hicksville, OH; brothers, Gene Duke of Olive Branch, Mississippi and James Edge of Lima, OH. He was preceded in death by a sister, Ann Witt and a brother, Tom Duke.
Victor worked on the assembly line at Dana in Auburn, IN where he retired in 1998. He loved riding motorcycles, building clocks and spending time with his family. He was a member of the National Clock & Watch Association.
Calling will be held on Friday, May 25, 2018 from 3-7 pm at Carnahan-Baidinger & Walter Funeral Home, Spencerville, IN. Services will be held on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at 11 am at the Spencerville United Methodist Church. Burial in Riverside Cemetery, St. Joe, Indiana.
