Vickie "JoAnn" Zurbuch, 65, died Thursday, March 14, 2024 at her home in New Haven, IN.  She was born on November 21, 1958 in Martinsville, IN to the late Melville E. & Dollie F. (Stancombe) Merida.  She married John J. Zurbuch on July 30, 2005 in Bloomington, IN.

Surviving are her husband, John J. Zurbuch of New Haven; daughter, April (Jason) Chandler of Freedom; grandchildren, Brandon (Anna) Chandler, Justin (Stevie) Chandler, Grace Chandler and Gloria Chandler; brother, Bruce (Becky) Merida of Ellettsville; sisters, Marcheta Davis of Bloomington and Joyce Gilliland of Bloomington.

She was preceded in death also by a brother-in-law, Terry Davis.

Vickie was a homemaker who loved gardening, growing house plants, doing puzzles, playing cards, dancing and doing anything social.  A true friend to all who have had the privilege of knowing her.

Per her requests, there will be no services or calling.
