Verna Mae Duffey, 2 months, gained her Heavenly wings on Friday, October 16, 2026 in Ft. Wayne, IN.

Our sweet Miss Girl, your time with us was far too short, but all you ever knew was love and peace. Verna was born on August 6, 2026, making her family a happy family of 6.  She holds a special place in everyone's hearts, 10 short weeks of growing, sleeping, eating (our miss piggy), and being the most loved.

Verna was loved by and survived by her parents, Keaton & Marguerite (Redinger) Duffey of Ft. Wayne; siblings, Opal, Lyla, and Byron Duffey; maternal grandparents, Matthew & Tressa Redinger of St. Joe; paternal grandma, Kellie Kellam of Ft. Wayne; great grandparents, Vickie Miller (Nick Heyman) of Grabill, Patricia Kellam of Jonesville, MI and Bill & Cheryl Redinger of Auburn; several aunts and uncles and countless cousins.

She was preceded in death by great grandpa, Reuben Miller, great grandma, Debra Redinger and great great grandparents, Verna & Kenneth Gasper.

God took our baby to peace because she was too perfect for this world.  A happy, healthy, growing, strong girl you will be missed and forever be remembered.  She will forever be showered in a hundred kisses, infinite snuggles, and love by her whole family.

Calling will be held on Wednesday, October 21, 2026 from 10 am - 1 pm with services following at St. Joe Church of Christ (508 Jefferson St. St. Joe, IN).  Matt Kirk will officiate.  Burial in Salem Reformed Cemetery (Dutch Ridge), Huntertown, IN.

Memorials may be given towards funeral expenses.
