Theresa Marschand Haverkamp passed into the loving arms of our Lord on January 14, 2025.  She was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana on February 26, 1950 to Warner H. Marschand, Jr. and Ila May (Houghton) Marschand.  Theresa is survived by her brother, Kerry (Lynn) Marschand of Brownsburg, Indiana.  Matthew (Donna) Marschand of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Jennifer (Bryan) Marschand-Haney of Beverly, Illinois, Cassandra (Anthony) Marschand-Michael and nieces and nephews.  Theresa was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Scott Marschand and Daniel Marschand.

Theresa attended South Side High School in Fort Wayne, Indiana, John Brown University in Siloam Springs Arkansas, and Indiana State University in Terre Haute, Indiana where she earned a Master's Degree.  She lived in Terre Haute where she taught special-ed and later was a high-school guidance counselor where she was loved by students and coworkers.

Theresa loved God and had a life of volunteering in her community at various organizations and singing in church choirs.  She was actively involved in community theaters and acted in numerous productions.  After retirement, she moved to Belleair Beach, Florida where she remained active in her church and community.  Theresa loved to travel, sail boats, garden, volunteer, meet people, (she NEVER met a stranger) and was an avid bargain-hunter and "garage-saler".

She will be deeply missed by family and friends.  In leu of flowers, donations in Theresa's name can be made to Anona Methodist Church, John Brown University, Indiana State University, or a charity of your choice.

A celebration of life for Theresa was held Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at 2:00pm at Anona United Methodist Church, 13233 Indian Rocks Road, Largo, Florida  33774.

A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at 1:00pm at Cedar Creek Cemetery, 6840 County Road 11A, Auburn, Indiana  46706.  Carnahan-Baidinger & Walter Funeral Home in Spencerville, Indiana is assisting the family with arrangements.
