Susan J. Stier, 68, went home to be with Jesus on Saturday in Seabrook SC. She was born in Glendale, OH to the late George H. & Jean H. (Benton) Eversman. She married Bernard "Bud" Stier on December 23, 1967 in Ft. Wayne, IN.

Surviving are her husband, Bud of Seabrook, SC; a daughter, Lisa (Mike) Kidd of Seabrook, SC; sons, Paul Stier of Columbia City, IN and Shannon (Pamela) Stier of Avilla, IN; 9 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren and a sister, Anne Eversman Pranger.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Stan Earle Eversman.

After becoming ill with ovarian cancer, Sue & Bud moved to South Carolina to be with their daughter. She worked in hotel customer service for several years at the Auburn Inn and The Holiday Express in Auburn & Kendallville, IN. She was the co-founder of the St. Joe Pickle Festival and for many years helped with the Spencerville Covered Bridge Festival where she was in charge of the entertainment. Sue attended New Hope Christian Center in Waterloo, IN, Life Bridge Church and The Gathering in Ft. Wayne, IN.

Calling will be held on Thursday, August 20, 2015 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at St. Joe Church of Christ (508 Jefferson St. St. Joe, IN). Graveside Services will be held on Friday, August 21, 2015 at 2 pm at Woodlawn Cemetery, Auburn, IN. Shawn Browning will officiate.
