Susan K. Hoover, 57, died Sunday, November 8, 2015 at Laurels of DeKalb in Butler, IN after battling Alzheimer's for 7 years. She was born in Auburn, IN on February 4, 1958 to William & Lola Mae (Davis) Rucker. She married Dennis L. Hoover on June 1, 1974 in Newville, IN.

Surviving are her husband, Dennis of Spencerville, IN; sons, Jason (Michelle) Hoover of Avilla, IN and Todd (Beth) Hoover of Auburn, IN; grandchildren - Wade Hoover, Kyra Hoover, Ethan Hoover, Emily Webb and Maverick Hoover; mother, Lola Mae Rucker of St. Joe, IN; sisters, Diann Dull of Auburn, IN, Sandra (Ron) Czaja of Butler, IN and Juli (Fred) Delacruz of Butler, IN; brother, Daniel Rucker of St. Joe, IN.

She was preceded in death by her father, William Rucker.

Sue worked as an assembler and packer at Autoline in Butler, IN for 34 years and also alongside her husband with setting up auctions for Hoover Auction. She never met a stranger and was always willing to help someone out, tease or pick on them. Whatever her husband and children were involved in, she was right there to support them in their efforts.

Calling will be held on Wednesday, November 11, 2015 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at Feller & Clark Funeral Home in Auburn, IN. Services will be held on Thursday, November 12, 2015 at 11 am with calling one hour prior at Feller & Clark Funeral Home in Auburn, IN with Pastor Floyd Shoup officiating.
