On Sunday, August 24, 2025, Steven D. Koos passed away at the age of 83 in the presence of his adoring family.  A 1960 South Side High School graduate, Indiana University graduate, and a veteran of the U.S. Army Reserves, Steve was a dedicated employee at BF Goodrich, where he retired in 2002 after 36 years.  Blessed with a good-natured personality, sharp wit, patient demeanor, and love for sports and westerns (and anything on the Grit channel), Steve loved his family most of all.

He is survived by his brother, Jerry (Bonnie); his three children, David, Mark (Kristina) and Molly (Bill); 12 grandchildren, whom he loved babysitting even while "resting his eyes".  His grandchildren included 5 boys, Tyler (Emily), Lukas, Jackson, Jakob, and Erick and 7 girls, Madeline, Samantha, Elliana (Brayton), Gabrielle, Laikyn, Bonita and Kash.

Steve was preceded in death by his mother, Thelma; his father, Kenneth and a granddaughter, Myka.

Friends & Family may gather on Tuesday, August 26, 2025 from 4-6 pm at Grace Gathering (3157 Minnich Road New Haven, IN  46774).  A Memorial Service will follow at 6 pm.
