Stanley Emenhiser, 78, formerly of St. Joe, IN, died Monday at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Ft. Wayne, IN. He was born in Ft. Wayne, IN to the late Charles W. & Ruth Irene (Heckler) Emenhiser. Surviving are his two sons, Jeffrey (Diana) Emenhiser of Garrett and Gene (Sandy) Emenhiser of St. Joe; his daughters, Tina (Scott) Thayer of Canton, MI and Debra Emenhiser and her fiance, Ramie Palmerton of Auburn; 10 Grandchildren - Kristi, Joshua & Wesley Emenhiser, Nikki Karr, Robert & Ryan Emenhiser, Emily & Joe Thayer, Justin Endsley & Haley Palmerton; 16 Great Grandchildren; brothers, Jerry Emenhiser of Butler and Michael Emenhiser of Woodburn; sisters, Mary Giesman of Indianapolis, Ruth Ann Wonderly of Hicksville, OH and Gloria Inlow of Harlan. He worked as a machinist for Warner Gear and retired in 1980 after 15 1/2 years. Calling will be held on Thursday, July 25 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the funeral home in Spencerville, IN. Services will be held on Friday, July 26 at 2 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Andrew Yeager officiating. Burial in Scipio Cemetery, Harlan, IN. Memorials may be given to the Muliple Sclerosis Foundation.
