Sherry Lyn McCoy, 70 died Sunday, March 30, 2025 at Parkview Randallia in Ft. Wayne, IN.  She was born in Ft. Wayne, IN on May 28, 1954 to the late John "Jack" W. & Barbara M. (Wegman) Bartle.  She married Jon J. McCoy on March 30, 2002 in Ft. Wayne, IN and he preceded her in death on June 23, 2007.

Surviving are a son, Kerry Haenftling of Ft. Wayne; daughter, Melody Harrington of Huntington; granddaughter, Harmony; siblings, Gary (Erin) Bartle of Harlan, Michael Bartle of Grabill and Wendy (Mark) Burke of Ft. Wayne.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Scott Bartle.

Sherry taught music at various schools in Indiana and also piano lessons.  She was a 1972 graduate from Leo High School.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, April 11, 2025 at 4 pm at Carnahan-Baidinger & Walter Funeral Home, Spencerville, IN.  Family will receive friends from 3-4 pm at the funeral home.
