Shaunice D. Kaley, 34, died Sunday, October 13, 2024 at her residence in Ft. Wayne, IN.  She was born on March 1, 1990 in Ft. Wayne, IN and adopted by Perla Graber & Shirley Dowdell.

Surviving are her daughter, Anivah Thorn of Ft. Wayne; fiance, Adam Thorn of Ft. Wayne; adopted Mothers, Perla Graber of Grabill and Shirley Dowdell of Cleveland, OH; siblings, Iraccia Pegues of Woodburn, Lakita Dowdell of Cleveland, OH, Harley Graber of Grabill, Caleb Kaley of Churubusco, Dillion Kaley of Harlan, Alexes Kaley of Indianapolis, Chris Martz of Payne, OH, Nova Graber of Ft. Wayne, Sam Dirig of Ft. Wayne, and Lena Kirtman of Grabill; lots of nieces & nephews and aunts & uncles.  She was preceded in death by her biological mother, Debra Reed.

Shaunice was a homemaker who loved music, dancing, reading and spending time with family & friends.  She especially loved being a mom to Anivah.

Calling will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2024 from 1-3 & 6-8 pm at the residence of Joe Schmucker (12823 Old 24 East New Haven, IN  46774).  Services will be held on Sunday, October 20, 2024 at 3 pm at the Joe Schmucker residence.  Burial in Yaggy Cemetery, Grabill, IN.

Memorials may be given towards the funeral expenses.
