Roseann E. Kinsey, 73, died Thursday at her home in St. Joe, IN surrounded by her loving family. She was born in St. Joe to the late Harry & Lula (Lutz) Shuff. She married Larry Wayne "Gus" Kinsey on August 29, 1987 in St. Joe, IN.
Surviving are her husband, Larry of St. Joe; children, Regina (Virgil) Duke of Spencerville, Rex Schlatter of St. Joe, Rick (Nancy) Schlatter of Leo, Rebecca McCoy of Auburn, Roger (Lani) Schlatter of Avilla, Robert Schlatter of Kendallville & Rodney (Jodi) Schlatter of Kendallville; grandchildren, Justin, Tabatha, Melissa, Dammion, Daniel, Isaac, Kristin, Adam, April, Ali, Lily (Neil), Shanda, Jeffrey (Veronica), Jason (Rena), Kimberly (Jeff), Justin (Kelly), Courtney & Spencer; great grandchildren, Aubrey, Joey, Lizzie, Ayden, Kendra, Kaybree, Serenity, Rosalie, Luke, Christopher, Grace Ann, Nolan, Kiera, Olivia, Corbin, Adrian, Joel, Alex, Corbin, Alie, Ayden, Illyanna, Abby & Sam; siblings, Chalmer Shuff of Glendale, AZ, Bill (Vivian) Shuff of Fontana, CA, Jim Shuff of Auburn, Claudia Hulbert of Auburn, Faye Tarlton of Auburn, Joan Mills of St. Joe; sisters-in-law, Betty Shuff of Auburn and Joy Shuff of Auburn; many nieces & nephews and her canine companion, Rascal.
She was preceded in death by 4 brothers, Harry Jr., Franklin, Bud & Bob Shuff; 7 sisters, Janice Witte, Kate Clady, Mary Jane Snook, Linda Sattison, Kaye Ells, Jackie Walker & Shirley Chapman; son-in-law, Jeff McCoy and a grandson, Luke McCoy.
She was a homemaker and also worked as a nanny for many years. She enjoyed listening to Christian music and has read her Bible through several times, loved spending time with her husband and kids, doing word searches, watching Hallmark movies and playing 10,000 with her family.
Calling will be held on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 from 2-7 pm at Carnahan-Baidinger & Walter Funeral Home, Spencerville, IN. Services will be held on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at 10 am at the funeral home with Pastor Clare Jewell officiating. Burial in Riverside Cemetery, St. Joe, IN.
