Rosa L. Schwartz, 90, died Tuesday, January 13, 2026 at her home surrounded by family.  She was born on January 7, 1936 in New Haven, IN to the late Samuel S. & Lillie L. "Leah" (Delagrange) Schwartz.  She married Joseph B. Schwartz on December 18, 1955.  Surviving are her husband, Joe Schwartz of Grabill; children, Sharon Diemer of Grabill, John (Heidi) Schwartz of Ft. Wayne and Paul (Katrina) Schwartz of Grabill; grandchildren, Austin Schwartz, Zoey Schwartz, MeKayla Schwartz, Jozlyne Schwartz, Dylan (Amanda) Diemer, David (Daisy) Diemer; great grandchildren, Axel, Matthew, Michael & Noah Diemer and a brother, Samuel (Lois) Schwartz of Woodburn.

She was preceded in death by siblings, Noah Schwartz, Esther (Andrew) Eicher, Victor (Agnes) Schwartz, Elmer (Betty) Schwartz, Albert Schwartz, Henry Schwartz, Mae Schwartz, Leah Schwartz and Ruth Graber; nieces and nephew, Ann Phillips, Lillian & Rebecca Schwartz and Pete Eicher.

She was a homemaker, preacher's wife and also ran a ice, fresh fruit and meat locker in Grabill.  She was a member of North Leo Mennonite Church.  She loved sewing, canning, quilting, gardening and visiting people.  In her younger years, she played shortstop whenever there was a baseball game going on.

Calling will be held on Friday, January 16, 2026 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at Cornerstone Church (15419 SR 1 Leo, IN).  Services will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2026 at 11 am with calling one hour prior at the church.  Burial in Schlatter Cemetery, Leo, IN.
