Roger R. Miller, 79, peacefully joined his Lord and Savior on Monday, March 2, 2015. He was an avid prayer warrior for his wife, Sue (Schrock); daughter, Janeen (Tone) Schortgen; sons, Rod and Brad (Brenda); 14 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren; brother, Arnie (Carol); and sister, Norma (Morris) Ropp. He was preceded in death by his firstborn daughter, Lynda (Rich) Eicher; his parents, Menno & Ina Miller; and a sister, Ruby Miller. His passionate prayer ministry not only included specific prayers for each family member, but also those who will someday marry into his family.

He was a dedicated umpire for 52 years, faithfully served on the Dove's Nest Board, the Board of Elders for North Leo Mennonite Church and the Ft. Wayne Umpire's Board. He was also the founder and director of the Mennonite Labor Day Softball Tourney.

Visitation with the family will be held on Friday, March 6, 2015 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at Church of the Good Shepherd (14717 Amstutz Road Leo, IN). Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at 11 am with calling one hour prior at the church. Pastor Don Delagrange officiating. Burial in Huntertown Cemetery, Huntertown, IN.
