Raymond Eicher, 87, died Monday, January 17, 2022 at Ashton Creek Rehabilitation Center in Ft. Wayne, IN.  He was born January 1, 1935 in Woodburn, IN to the late Noah & Christina (Schwartz) Eicher.  He married Orpha Yoder on February 15, 1958 in Cuba Mennonite Church.

Surviving are his wife, Orpha Eicher of Hicksville, OH; children, Doyle (Roberta) Eicher of Mission, TX, Ted (Donna) Eicher of Hicksville, OH, Gary Eicher of Hicksville, OH, Lee (Shelli) Eicher of Leo, IN, Donna (David) Cottrell of Woodsfield, OH and Sherry Brockman of Ft. Wayne, IN; 12 grandchildren & 5 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Christina Cottrell; great granddaughter, Adelaine Carter; sisters, Lydia (Joseph) Delagrange, Barbara (Noah) Graber and Rosa (Menno) Witmer; brothers, Joseph (Emma) Eicher, Noah (Mary) Eicher, David (Emma) Eicher, Daniel (Marie) Eicher, Andrew (Suzanne) Eicher, Michael (Amanda) Eicher, Simon (Mary) Eicher and Menno (Loretta) Eicher.

Raymond was a lifelong farmer, carpenter and cabinet maker who also loved to garden.  He was a member of Hicksville Mennonite Church.

A gathering of friends & family will be held on Friday, January 28, 2022 from 2-4 pm at Central Ministries (14717 Amstutz Road Leo, IN).  A Memorial Service will be held at 5 pm at the church.
