Prairie Ava Near entered into the arms of Jesus on Saturday, October 28, 2023 according to their medically-educated guess.  She was born on October 29, 2023 at 9:04 am to Austin & Diana (Kornelsen) Near at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Ft. Wayne, IN.  She weighed 6 pounds and 13 ounces and measured 21 inches long.

Surviving are her parents, Austin & Diana Near of Spencerville; brother, Archer Near; grandparents, Peter & Elizabeth Kornelsen of Checotah, OK and Luke & Sandra Near of White Cloud, MI.

Services will be held on Friday, November 3, 2023 at 10:30 am with calling one hour prior at Cuba Mennonite Church (10835 Cuba Road Harlan, IN) with Uncle Sam Near, Uncle Gary Yoder and Uncle David Kornelsen officiating.  Burial in Yaggy Cemetery, Grabill, IN.

Pallbearers will be Uncle Pablo Kornelsen and Cousin Judson Graber
