Noah L. Delagrange, 87, died friday surrounded by his family. He was born on March 31, 1925 in Harlan, IN to the late Amos & Mary (Miller) Delagrange. He married Kanoshia Ann Witmer on May 24, 1952 in Allen County, Indiana. She preceded him in death on October 14, 2011. Surviving are three sons, Dale (Fern), Douglas (Vi), and Delbert (Sarah) all of Spencerville, IN; two daughters, Charlotte (Mike) Chamness of Ft. Wayne, IN and Cristal (Craig) Bontrager of Grabill, IN; 17 grandchildren & 9 great grandchildren; a brother, Amos Delagrange of Harlan, IN and a sister, Det Stauffer of Ft. Wayne, IN. He was preceded in death by three sisters, Lea Liechty, Rose Miller & Mary Delagrange. He was self-employed and enjoyed spending time with his family, friends and neighbors around the coffee table. Calling will be held on Monday (Nov. 19) from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at Central Church (5801 Schwartz Road). A memorial service will be held at 7 pm on Tuesday (Nov. 20) at Central Church. Pastors Jeremy Helmuth and Don Delagrange will officiate. A private family burial will be held.
