Nancy Moore, 76, died Tuesday at DeKalb Health in Auburn, IN. She was born in Auburn, IN to the late Ralph & Belva (Chorpenning) Rugman. She married Carson Moore, Sr. on October 15, 1955 and he preceded her in death on June 4, 1996.
Surviving are a son, Carson Moore, Jr. (Carol Hogge) of Newville, IN; daughters, Judy (Vic) Lyon of Marion, OH, Diana (Joe) Newbauer of Bay City, MI, Barbara (Terry) Coonrod of Auburn, IN, Lisa (Ron) Belinsky of Grand Lodge, MI and Dawn (Levi) Fredericks of Ft. Wayne, IN; brothers, Ralph Rugman of Garrett, IN, Bruce (Becky) Rugman of Auburn, IN; sisters, Martha (Robert) Geyer of Spencerville, IN, Sharron (Robert) Plummer of Auburn, IN, and Dawn (Merlin) Bartels of Garrett, IN; 18 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. She had many nieces and nephews, an abundance of friends especially Ron Osbun. She was also preceded in death by an infant daughter, JoEllen and an infant son, Steven and 6 brothers - Robert, Keith, Joseph & Steven Rugman and Edward & Charles Carnahan.
She worked as a nurse's aide in the Hicksville & Butler Nursing Homes, factory worker at Crooks-Millers Handle Factory in Hicksville and also as a punch press & welder at Sheller Globe in Grabill. She loved camping, sewing, cooking and was a member of the Hicksville Eagles.
Graveside services are on Saturday, June 14, 2014 at 10 am at Roselawn Cemetery in Auburn, IN. Pastor Joe Freeman will officiate. In lieu of flowers, please send memorials to Freedom to Worship Church of God - 800 N. Peters St. Garrett, Indiana 46738.
