Menno Eicher, 92, peacefully entered into his Heavenly home on Wednesday. He was born in Woodburn, IN to the late Noah & Christina (Schwartz) Eicher. He married Loretta Mae Lake on October 20, 1940 and she preceded him in death on January 31, 2003.

Surviving are sons, Terry Eicher of Auburn, Jerry (Jennifer) Eicher of Canada, Dean Eicher of Woodburn; daughters, Christine Rabbani of Sydney, OH, Deborah (Vernon) Steury of Auburn, Anita (Robert) Timmerman of Fishers; 17 grandchildren & 19 great grandchildren; brothers, Raymond (Orpha) Eicher of Hicksville, OH and Michael(Amanda)Eicher of Fremont.

He was preceded in death by sisters, Lydia Delagrange, Barbara Graber and Rosie Witmer; brothers, Joe, Noah, Andrew, David, Daniel & Simon Eicher.

Menno started out working in sales & carpentry for Woodburn Lumber Company, worked as a carpenter for Delagrange Homes and then started his own carpentry business, Eicher Repairs. After retiring, he hauled for the Amish. He was a member of Westwood Fellowship in Woodburn and Harlan Lions Club. He enjoyed fishing, camping and doing odd jobs.

Calling will be held on Monday, August 28, 2017 from 6-8 pm at Westwood Fellowship (4100 Becker Road Woodburn, IN). Services will be held on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at 11 am with calling one hour prior at the church. Pastor Chad Olszewski will officiate. Burial in Harlan Cemetery, Harlan, IN.
