Melvin Herschberger, 92, died Sunday, December 14, 2025 at The Cedars in Leo, IN.  He was born on August 21, 1933 in Antwerp, OH to the late Andrew & Anges (Tuto) Herschberger.  He married Carroll L. (Loucks) Herschberger on June 18, 1961 in the Spencerville United Methodist Church and she preceded him in death on October 12, 2014.

Surviving are a daughter, Babette Herschberger of St. Petersburg, FL; a son, Derek (Tammie) Herschberger of Leo; 5 grandchildren & 5 great grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by a sister & brother-in-law, Virginia "Ginny" & William "Red" Burns and a brother, Robert Herschberger.

Melvin retired from Nucor Vulcraft after 21 years.  He and his wife, Carroll had an antique business located at the Shops of Grabill and they also spent 6 months of the year in Florida.  He was a member of the Club Olympia American Legion.

There will be no services or calling.
