Mary Miller, 88, passed away Saturday at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Ft. Wayne, IN. Born at her family home in Leo on December 21, 1927, to the late Menno "Red" & Lydia S. (Delagrange) Witmer. She married Perry E. Miller on January 31, 1954 in Harlan, IN and he preceded her in death on August 9, 1998.

Surviving are daughters, Margaret "Ann" (Phil) Slone of Auburn and Cindy (Jeff) Dale of Auburn; sons, Herb Miller of Fremont and Denny (Tanya) Miller of Leo; 12 grandchildren & 23 great grandchildren; her twin sister, Margaret Witmer of Leo and a sister-in-law, Rosa Witmer of Leo. She was preceded in death by a sister & brother-in-law, Kanoshia & Noah Delagrange; a brother & sister-in-law, Henry "Hank" & Edna Witmer and brothers, Menno, Eli & Myron Witmer.

Mary was a homemaker and a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who loved quilting, gardening, canning, and spending time with her family. She also loved teaching Sunday School and Vacation Bible School at North Leo Mennonite Church.

Calling will be held on Friday, January 15, 2016 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at North Leo Mennonite Church (15419 SR 1 Leo, IN). Services will be held on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at 11 am at the church with Pastor Allen Schlatter & Pastor Marshall Anderson officiating.
