Mary Lou Means, 83, died Thursday, February 15, 2024 at The Laurels of DeKalb in Butler, Indiana.  She was born on August 16, 1940 in Allen County, Indiana to the late Bert Hinson & Florence Elenora (Campbell) Cohee.

Surviving are daughters, Charlotte Shock of Hicksville, Ohio and Kristen (Pat) Case of Woodward, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Ethan Stacy of Waterloo, Indiana, Kasadi Shock of Lewisburg, West Virginia, Kristopher (Deidra) Kutzli of Bryan, Ohio and Kameron Kutzli of Woodward, Oklahoma; great grandchildren, Xavier, Isabella & Olivia Kutzli; sisters, Vonda Pulver of Columbia City, Indiana, Barbara Highlander of Woodford, Virginia, Susan (Lynn) Stubing of Hicksville, Ohio and Diana (Greg) Dunn of Waterloo, Indiana.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Laura L. Means; son-in-law, Steven "Sherm" Shock; brothers-in-law, Jerry Pulver and Charles Highlander.

Mary Lou worked at Bohn Aluminum in Butler, IN for many years.  She loved plants, flowers, puzzles of all kinds and spending time with family.

Friends & Family may gather on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 from 2-7 pm at Carnahan-Baidinger & Walter Funeral Home, Spencerville, Indiana.

Memorials may be given to the Dekalb County Humane Shelter - 5730 CR 11A  Auburn, Indiana  46706.
