Mary W. Eicher, 88, died Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at Signature Health Care in Bremen, IN.  She was born in Nappanee, IN on September 27, 1930 to the late William D. & Elizabeth (Hochstetler) Yoder.  Her first marriage was to Francis M. Greene and he preceded her in death on June 13, 1966.  Her second marriage was to Simon Eicher on June 12, 1976 and he preceded her in death on January 15, 2016.

Surviving are her daughter, Karen (Lloyd) Slagle of Nappanee; grandchildren, Wendy (Vernell) Lark of Goshen, Amy (Stan) Davis of Elkhart; great grandchildren, Myleah Slagle, Makia Tartt, Dominic Davis & Delaney Davis; great great grandchildren, Eli Richard Slagle & Dior Alona Tartt; sister, Roseanna (Duane) Yoder of Shipshewana; brother, Steven P. (Diane) Yoder of Saginaw, TX.  She was preceded in death by brothers, Edwin, Glenn, Wayne, Marvin, Earl & L. Michael Yoder; sisters, Ana Mae Yoder & Ferne Gerig and her step mother, Mary S. (Miller) Yoder.

She worked at Comfo-Sleep & Holiday Rambler as a factory worker, enjoyed being a homemaker and taking care of children.  She was a member of North Leo Mennonite Church, volunteered at the Dove's Nest and loved cooking.

Calling will be held on Sunday, September 22, 2019 from 3-7 pm at Nappanee First Brethren Church (1600 N. Main Street Nappanee, IN) and on Monday, September 23, 2019 from 10 am - 2 pm at North Leo Mennonite Church (15419 SR 1, Leo, IN).  Services will be held on Monday, September 23, 2019 at 2 pm at North Leo Mennonite Church with burial following at Leo Memorial Park Cemetery.
