Marlys E. "Mar" Huss died Sunday at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Ft. Wayne, IN surrounded by her family after an 8 month battle with cancer. She was born in Auburn, IN to the late Harold A. "Babe" & Mabel L. (Inlow) Furnish. She married H. Dan Huss on May 21, 1966 in Cedarville, IN and he preceded her in death on November 15, 2007.

Surviving are her son, Travis Huss of Ft. Wayne; her daughter, Tisha Heller of Ft. Wayne; grandchildren, Miranda (John), Brianna (Steve), Travis Jr., Kyle, Jacob, Cole, Kayleigh and Kaden; sisters, Johnell "Jan" Swing, Sheryl Norr (Art) and Grace Spence all of Sun City, FL; mother-in-law, Mildred Huss of Bluffton, IN and her boyfriend, Ty Richmond of Jackson, MI and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Dana Heller; a newphew, Scott Swing; a brother, Larry Furnish and two nieces, Stephanie Huss and Angie McHenry.

She was a homemaker who had a great sense of humor and enjoyed numerous friends. She loved garage sales, her cats, spending time with her grandchildren and also dabbled in real estate and being a manicurist. She was a member of the Leo American Legion Post 409 Auxillary.

Calling will be held on Friday, August 26, 2016 from 4-7 pm at Carnahan-Baidinger & Walter Funeral Home. Services will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at 1 pm with calling one hour prior at the Spencerville United Methodist Church in Spencerville, IN. Burial in White City Cemetery, Spencerville.
