Marilyn Miles, 82, died Saturday at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Ft Wayne, IN. She was born in Spencerville to the late Carl & Gaylon (Goldsmith) Tustison. She married John W. Miles on September 3, 1949 in DeKalb County, IN and he preceded her in death on June 14, 1986. Surviving are two daughters, Toni (Steve) Surface of Albion, IN and Shelley (Thomas) Schaefer of Phoenix, AZ; a son, Chris (Diane) Miles of DeFuniak Springs, FL; 7 grandchildren - John Grogg, JoAnn Ritenour, Jammie McCosh, Timmy Miles, Jessica Myers, Thomas Schaefer, Jr. and Stella Horrocks; 14 great grandchildren and 2 great great granddaughters; and a sister, Nancy Praul of Auburn. She was preceded in death by a brother, John Tustison on April 15, 2005. Marilyn was a homemaker and loved reading, camping, traveling, taking care of her flowers and spending time with her family. Calling will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2013 from 4-8 pm at the funeral home. Services will be held on Thursday, Feb. 21, 2013 at 10 am at the funeral home. Burial in Cedar Creek Cemetery, Garrett, IN.
