Marilyn Grace Klopfenstein, 90, died Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at The Cedars in Leo, Indiana. She was born on November 18, 1933 in India to the late Reverend Jesse S. & Edna G. (Gerig) Ringenberg. She married Calvin G. Klopfenstein on July 10, 1954 in Grabill Missionary Church and he preceded her in death on September 14, 2020.
Surviving are her sons, Ron (Lorene) Klopfenstein of Colorado, Reg (Kay) Klopfenstein of Mishawaka, IN & Rod Klopfenstein of Leo, IN; grandchildren, Kirsten (Matt) Weber of Colorado, Reid (Maria) Klopfenstein of Colorado, Matthew (Amanda Heinsman) Klopfenstein of South Carolina & Joshua (Nancy Murphy) Klopfenstein of Michigan; great grandchildren, Ella Weber, Cole Weber & Ava Klopfenstein; a brother, Maynard (Jan) Ringenberg of Cartersville, GA and a sister, Dorothy J. Amstutz of Texas. She was preceded in death by brothers Robert & Wallace Ringenberg and a brother-in-law, Roger Amstutz.
Marilyn co-owned and helped operate alongside her husband, C. G. Klopfenstein Builders, Inc. She was a member of Grabill Missionary Church, sang with the Senior Saints and enjoyed traveling with her husband. They were able to travel to all 50 states and 14 countries together. She also enjoyed reading, listening to music and played the church organ for many years.
Services will be held on Friday, February 23, 2024 at 10:30 am with calling one hour prior at Carnahan-Baidinger & Walter Funeral Home, Spencerville, Indiana. Private family burial at Leo Memorial Park Cemetery, Leo, Indiana.
Memorials may be given in her memory to the Missions Fund at Grabill Missionary Church - 13637 State Street Grabill, Indiana 46741
