Marcia E. Sible, 94, went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at Laurels of DeKalb in Butler, IN. She was born on May 18, 1922 in St. Joe, IN to the late Albert & Madonna (Kinsey) Wade. She married Francis B. Sible on February 5, 1942 in Angola, IN and he preceded her in death on April 7, 1981.
Surviving are sons, Gary (Sherri) Sible of St. Joe, Gene (Lisa) Sible of Oakland Park, FL; daughter, Glenda (Robert) Shull of St. Joe; grandchildren - Jodi (Adam) Jordan, Wade Shull, Christen (Josh) Griffith and Alexandria Sible; 6 great grandchildren; sister, Marlyn Funk of Auburn and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by brothers, Albert Edward Wade & Franklyn L. Wade; sisters, Margaret Barkman, Sally O. Wolfe & Beverly Bell; grandson Justin W. Shull; brother-in-law, Orville E. Funk and sister-in-law, Letha Wade.
She was a homemaker and a farmer who enjoyed fishing, traveling, reading, sewing and wintering in Florida. She was a member of the St. Mark Lutheran Church in St. Joe and the Women's Literary Club.
Calling will be held on Monday, May 15, 2017 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at Carnahan-Baidinger & Walter Funeral Home in Spencerville, IN. Services will be held on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at 11 am with calling one hour prior at St. Mark Lutheran Church (302 W. Washington St. St. Joe, IN) with Pastor Floyd Shoup officiating. Burial in Riverside Cemetery, St. Joe.
