Mae Castle, 97, died Sunday, July 15, 2018 at Hickory Creek Healthcare in Hicksville, OH. She was born on June 23, 1921 in McKeesport, PA to the late Thomas & Margaret (Turner) Poyner.
Surviving are a son, Keith (Britney) Elliot of Barbersville, WV; 2 grandsons, Brandon & Zander Elliot; a sister, Nellie Haynie of Spencerville, IN and several nieces & nephews.
She was a homemaker, a school librarian and worked also as a secretary for the steel mills. She was also a member of Countryside Church of Christ in Grabill, IN.
No calling or services per her wishes. Burial will be held in Richland Cemetery in Dravosburg, PA.
