Lynda Eicher, 58, went to be with Jesus Monday morning at her home in rural Leo, IN. She was born in Midland, MI to Roger & Sue (Schrock) Miller. She married Rich Eicher on July 14, 1973 in the Cuba Mennonite Church in Harlan, IN. Surviving are her husband, Rich of Leo; a son, Rob (Erin) Eicher of Leo; three daughters, Laura (Derek) Gauthier of Ft. Wayne, Lona (David) Besing of Evansville and Lynette (Andy) Osborn of Ft. Wayne; 13 grandchildren; her parents, Roger (Sue) Miller of Huntertown; a sister, Janeen (Tone) Schortgen of Ft. Wayne; two brothers, Rod Miller of Richmond, VA and Brad (Brenda) Miller of Leo. She was preceded in death by two grandchildren. Lynda was a homemaker, an Independent Shaklee Distributor & the secretary/bookkeeper for Ike's Drywall. She attended Pathway Community Church in Ft. Wayne and loved to read, garden, pray and spend time with her family.
A verse that Lynda truly believes in: I Thessalonians 4:13 & 14 NIV - "Brothers, we do not want you to be ignorant about those who fall asleep, or to grieve like the rest of men, who have no hope. We believe that Jesus died and rose again and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him."
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 30th from 2-5 pm and also on Friday, May 31st from 12-2 & 4-6 pm at Pathway Community Church (11910 Shearwater Run Ft. Wayne, IN 46845). A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, May 31st at 6:30 pm at the church with Rob Eicher officiating. Private family burial.
