Lora Mayola Hart, 93, died Monday, September 15, 2025 at her home in rural Spencerville, IN.  She was born on February 7, 1932 in Hicksville, OH to the late Harry B. & Flotilla (Otis) Reas.  After graduating from St. Joe High School in 1950, she married Lavon G. Hart on June 3, 1950 in Newville, IN and they have celebrated 75 years of marriage.

Surviving are her husband, Lavon Hart of Spencerville; sons, Larry Hart of Denver, CO, Lynn (Michelle) Hart of Butler, Lane Hart of Denver, CO; grandchildren, Jessica (Jon) Flater, Jeremy Hart, Amy Hart (Zach Ridgway), Arika (Christopher) Knowles, Lane (Andrea) Hart II, Brittany (Ben) Alexandra and 16 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by brothers & sisters-in-law, Weldon & Leila Reas and Walter & Rebecca Reas; sisters & brothers-in-law, Laverne & Leo Tyson and Dorothy & Wayne Fetters.

She was a homemaker until her sons graduated from high school and then she became a bookkeeper, kitchen designer and office manager for Dutch Made Cabinet Company in Grabill, IN.  Lora was a member of Coburn Corners Church of Christ serving as a longtime song leader.  She was also a member of the Ladybugs.  For many years she worked alongside her husband, Lavon at the St. Joe-Spencerville Lions Club Tent at the Auburn Fair.  She loved crocheting, oil painting, traveling, cooking for her family and serving others.

Friends & Family may gather on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at 10 am at Coburn Corners Church of Christ (6813 CR 64 St. Joe, IN).  A Celebration of Life will follow at 11 am at the church with Pastor Lynn Hart officiating.
