Lloyd A. Moughler, 99, formerly of Ft. Wayne, IN died Sunday, February 9, 2025 at The Cedars in Leo, IN.  He was born on February 5, 1926 in Butler, IN to the late Bert R. & Vae B. (Campbell) Moughler.  He married Grace M. Baldwin on June 4, 1961 in Veedersburg, IN and she preceded him in death on January 4, 2012.

Surviving are a niece, Sheila (Jeff) Miller of St. Joe; nephews, Bruce Laub of Spencerville, Jerry (Sharon) Zonker of Auburn and Gary Zonker of Auburn; many great nieces & nephews.

He was preceded in death by his sisters & brothers-in-law, Evelyn M. (Sylvester A.) Zonker & Marilyn L. (Frank D.) Laub; nieces, Nancy Laub & Nancy Stonebraker and a great nephew, Jackson Laub.

Lloyd was a retired teacher with Crown Point at Plainfield, IN in 1970 and then from 1974 - 1979 he worked at RDC Correctional in Plainfield.  He was a WWII Army veteran.  He loved golf, watching basketball, travelling to the state parks, reading and eating out.  He was able to go on the Honor Flight in May of 2013.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, February 16, 2025 at 2 pm with calling one hour prior at Carnahan-Baidinger & Walter Funeral Home, Spencerville, IN.  Chaplain Karen Kosberg will officiate.  Burial will be held at Marion National Cemetery, Marion, IN at a later time.
