Joe "Larry" Stolte passed away on August 10, 2022 at the age of 57 due to a spinal injury.  He was the son of Larry Eugene Stolte and Mary Jane Garringer.  Joe was a Telecommunication Engineer for GTE, Verizon, Frontier and NRTC.  He enjoyed sports, bourbon, cigars, close friends and family.  He loved his dog, Spec, music, cards, art and sports.  His courageous heart is loved by friends and family.

He is survived by his mother, Jane; godchildren, Nora and Ian Stolte and was preceded in death by his father and sister, Larry & Cathi Anne.

A Remembrance Service will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at 1 pm with calling 3 hours prior at Carnahan-Baidinger & Walter Funeral Home, Spencerville, IN.  Following the service, there will be a gathering at Dickey's at 3 pm.
