Larry Halsey, 76, died Tuesday at his home in Garrett, IN.  He was born on January 11, 1942 in Kimmel, IN to the late Hershel E. & Edna Mae (McCowan) Halsey.  He married Sherry Mullins on October 8, 1988 in LaOtto, IN.

Surviving are his wife, Sherry of Garrett; children, Lexy (Josh) King of LaOtto, Larry Halsey, Jr. of Garrett, Terry Halsey of Garrett, Carol Halsey of Kendallville; brothers, Woody (Sandy) Halsey of Woodburn, LeRoy Halsey of New Haven, Joe Halsey of Hamilton, Ray (Tuesday) Halsey of Syracuse; sisters, Janie (Bob) Craft of Albion, Mary (Troy) Grant of Arthur, OH and a sister-in-law, Heather Halsey of Garrett.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Anthony Halsey; sister, Janet (Halsey) Dunham; niece, Shawn Halsey; and sisters-in-law, Kathy & Ella Halsey.

He worked as an assembler in different factories and loved fishing and spending time with famly.

Services will be held on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at 2 pm with calling one hour prior at Carnahan-Baidinger & Walter Funeral Home in Spencerville, IN.
