Kirk Richard Steury, 60, died Tuesday surrounded by his family and loved ones. He was born in Ft. Wayne, IN to Furman R. & Margaret E. (Yoder) Steury.

Surviving are two daughters, Kyna (Cory) Johnson of Ft. Wayne and Kortney Crabill of Leo; his mother, Margaret E. Steury of Leo; his girlfriend, Barbara Combs of Kendallville; 3 grandchildren; brothers, Kevin (April) Steury of Leo, Randall Steury of Leo, Doyle (Susie) Steury of Leo; sisters, Mary Kay (Steve) Shaffer of Ft. Wayne and Kendra (Jason) Faux of Fishers. He was preceded in death by his father, Furman R. Steury (Aug. 29, 2014); a niece, Olivia Steury and a nephew, Ethan Faux.

He worked in construction for Furman Steury Construction and for the last few years with Martin Lengacher Construction. He loved hunting, 4-wheeling, fishing, motorcycle racing and spending time with his family at the pond.

Private family services will be held.
