Kenneth H. Hanefeld, 92, died Monday at Signature Healthcare of Ft. Wayne. He was born in New Haven, IN to the late Henry F. & Mathilde (Werling) Hanefeld. His wife, Ruth Christine Hanefeld preceded him in death in 1992.
He was also preceded in death by brothers: Norbert Hanefeld in 1999, Clarence Hanefeld in 2006, Oscar Hanefeld in 2009; sisters, Alma Hanefeld in 1908, Velma Rose in 1979, Henrietta Kinney in 2005 and Geraldine Zurbrugg in 2013.
He worked in the Maintenance Department of East Allen County Schools and was a WWII Army Veteran. He was a member of the Emanuel Lutheran Church in New Haven, IN.
Private graveside service will be held at Emanuel Lutheran Cemetery in New Haven, IN.
