Kelly Scott Gaunt, 50, died Monday, January 6, 2025 at his home in Butler, IN.  He was born on July 10, 1974 in Bluffton, IN to the late Robert E. & Rebecca A. (Williams) Gaunt.  He married Hope Fritz on July 4, 2015 in Columbia City, IN.

Surviving are his wife, Hope Gaunt of Butler; daughter, Riley (Aaron) Voglewede of Huntertown; grandchildren, Clare & Cyler Voglewede; step-son, Austin (Magan) Williams of Lowell; step-daughter, Victoria Williams; step-grandchildren, Charles & Oaklynn Williams; brother, Dusty Gaunt of Indianapolis; nephew, Sam Gaunt of Indianapolis, his beloved dog, Tootsie and many aunts, uncles & cousins.

Kelly worked at Therma Tru in Butler, IN for 23 1/2 years.  He was a member of the Charles Foster Blaker American Legion Post 202 in Butler.  He loved to travel, especially internationally and spend time on his pontoon boat.  He was a very simple man who enjoyed playing his guitar and drums, campfires, grilling, listening to music, camping, some fishing and going to the casinos & off-track horse racing.  In his younger years, he loved riding his Harley.  Kelly loved just spending time with friends and family and enjoying life.  He was a massive joker and enjoyed deep conversations about worldwide politics and events.

Per his wishes, cremation will take place.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, January 24, 2025 at 4 pm at the Charles Foster Blaker American Legion Post 202 (118 N. Broadway St.) in Butler, IN.
