Kay Jean Smith, 78, died Saturday, December 19, 2020 at her home in Ft. Wayne, IN.  She was born on November 14, 1942 in Flint, MI to the late William & Uvah Smith.  She married Gordon B. Smith on June 25, 1960 in Tecumseh, MI.

Surviving are her husband, Gordon of Ft. Wayne; son, Timothy M. (Angela) Smith of Ft. Wayne; daughters, Kristen J. (Matthew) Zurbuch of Leo and Janelle E. (Jon) Hicks of Leo; 12 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren with 2 on the way; sister, Sandy (Don) Ringman of Adrian, MI and a brother, Billy (Sharon Smith of Adrian, MI.  She was preceded in death by a sister, Dawn Johnson.

Kay worked as an accountant with KMH Systems in New Haven, IN.  She loved to quilt, cook and spend time with her family.

Per her request, there will be no services or calling.
