Obituary

Karen Hensinger, 72, died Thursday in a house fire in St. Joe, IN.  She was born in Allen County, IN to the late David & Mary (Yoder) Leichty.  She married Raymond Hensinger on November 1, 1970 in the Cuba Mennonite Church in Harlan, IN.

Surviving are her husband, Raymond Hensinger of St. Joe; daughters, Nicki (Matt) McClain of St. Joe, Sam (Joe) Burleson of St. Joe; grandchildren, Trent (Shay) Reinig of St. Joe, Haley Reinig (Skylar Gibson) of St. Joe, Shelby McClain of St. Joe; great grandchildren, Novah Reinig & Carter Kimmell.  She was preceded in death by a brother, Victor Leichty.

She was a homemaker, worked at Renaissance Publishing Company in Auburn, IN and owned & operated along with her husband, Ray's Coffee Shop in St. Joe, IN.  She attended Cuba Mennonite and North Leo Mennonite Churches.

Calling will be held on Monday, March 11, 2019 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at Cuba Mennonite Church (10835 Cuba Road, Harlan, IN).  Services will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at 2 pm with calling one hour prior at the church.  Burial in Yaggy Cemetery.
