Juanita Cannon, 80, died Wednesday at her home in St. Joe, Indiana. She was born in Ashley, Indiana to the late Fred & Ruth (Carpenter) Etheridge. She married Wilford Howard Cannon, Sr. in Watseka, IL in 1959 and he preceded her in death on December 2, 1985.

Surviving are 2 sons, Fred Cannon of St. Joe, IN and W. H. (Kelly) Cannon of Spencerville, IN; 2 daughters, Ruth (Ed) Pursel of Bryan, OH and Gale (Larry) McCoy of St. Joe, IN; 13 grandchildren & step grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by 3 brothers - Glenn, Kirk & Ed Etheridge.

Juanita retired in 1999 as a claims adjuster from Key Benefits. She was a member of Coburn Corners Church of Christ.

Calling will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2014 from 1-5 pm at Carnahan-Baidinger & Walter Funeral Home in Spencerville, IN. Services will be held on Sunday, August 3, 2014 at 2 pm at the funeral home. Burial in Riverview Cemetery, Newville, IN.
