John Pfister, 47, went home into the arms of Jesus on Friday (Oct. 19) at Glenbrook Rehabilitation & Skilled Nursing Center in Ft. Wayne, IN. He was born in Ft. Wayne to Robert L. & Janice M. (Bahler) Pfister. They survive in Leo. Also, surviving are a son, Brett Pfister of Auburn; a daughter, Breana Pfister of Auburn; a brother, Robert Pfister of Beverly Hills, CA and two sisters, Nancy (Jay) Brandenberger of Ft. Wayne and Elaine (Shane) Chapin of New Haven. He worked for Pfister Brothers Farms and then Tower Automotive in Auburn and was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church in Leo. He enjoyed all sports, Nascar, and his favorite thing was spending time with his children. Calling will be held on Tuesday (Oct. 23) from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the Apostolic Christian Church (11714 Grabill Road Leo, IN). Services will be held on Wednesday (Oct. 24) at 10 am with calling one hour prior at the church. Pastors Lynn Stieglitz and Tom Swank will officiate. Burial in Leo Memorial Park Cemetery.
