John R. Graber, 83, died Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Ft. Wayne, IN.  He was born on December 30, 1942 in Grabill, IN to the late Joseph R. & Rosa (Schwartz) Graber.  He married Lillian (Graber) Graber on January 18, 1962.

Surviving are his wife; Lillian Graber; children, Neil (Rosemary) Graber, Rosemary (John) Schwartz, Ruby Mae (Elmer) Wickey, Ruben L. (Elizabeth) Graber, Esther Marie (Leroy) Schmucker, John Jay (Mary May) Graber, Jesse Jay (Mary) Graber, Lilly Mae (Matthew) Lengacher; 54 grandchildren; 77 great grandchildren; siblings, Christian (Eileen) Graber, Thomas (Mary) Graber, Joe (Catherine) Graber, Benjamin (Rosa) Graber, Rosanna (Michael) Graber, Ruben (Elizabeth) Graber, James (Anna Mae) Graber, Tobias (Naomi) Graber, Ruth (Sam) Schwartz and a brother-in-law, Elam Graber.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Daniel S. Graber; sisters, Elizabeth R. Graber, Suzanna Graber, Rachel Graber, Barbara Nolt; brothers-in-law, Laverne Miller & David Nolt and a niece, Rachel Mae Graber.

John was the owner & operator of the Campbell Road Saw Mill in Spencerville, IN and a member of the Old Order Amish.  He enjoyed travelling, visiting with friends and taking buggy rides with his wife.  He loved being able to spend time with his family.

Calling will begin tonight, Thursday, January 15, 2026 after 5 pm.  There will also be calling all day on Friday, January 16, 2026 and Saturday, January 17, 2026 at the residence of Matthew & Lilly Mae Lengacher (15801 Boger Road, Spencerville, IN).  Services will be held on Sunday, January 18, 2026 at 12 noon at the Lengacher Residence with Bishop Joe Lengacher officiating.  Burial will be in the Spencerville Old Order Amish Cemetery.
