Jeffrey W. Bemis, 61, died Monday, November 18, 2024 at Parkview DeKalb in Auburn, IN.  He was born on December 5, 1962 in Ft. Wayne, IN to the late Robert F. Bemis and Jacqueline M. (Smith) Bemis York.  He married Cindy T. Yeiser on June 16, 1984 in Leo, IN.

Surviving are his wife, Cindy Bemis of Butler; sons, Bradley Bemis of Bryan, OH, Nicholas Bemis of St. Joe, Spencer Bemis of Butler; grandson, Luke Bemis; mother, Jacqueline York; brother, Greg Bemis of Ft. Wayne; sister, Christa (Chad) Houser of Ft. Wayne; sisters-in-law, Rhonda (Tony) Warstler of St. Joe, Julie (Bill) Chapman of St. Joe and many nieces & nephews.

Jeff worked as a steel factory worker for New Millineum and loved the outdoors, doing handy man work and woodworking.

Private family service will be held at Carnahan-Baidinger & Walter Funeral Home, Spencerville, IN.  Memorials may be given towards the funeral expenses or to the DeKalb Humane Society - 5730 CR 11A, Auburn, IN  46706.
