Jeanne M. Bissell, 84, died Friday, Dec. 4, 2015 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Ft. Wayne, IN. She was born on February 13, 1931 in St. Joe, IN to the late Fred & Helen (McCutcheon) Ulm. She married Roy E. Bissell on June 18, 1949 in the Spencerville United Methodist Church Parsonage. He preceded her in death on March 15, 1998.

Surviving are a son, Michael (Pam) Bissell of Spencerville, IN; daughters, Sandra Lechleidner of Butler, IN, Jayme Tatro of Springfield, OH and Cindy (Dirk) Ross of Hicksville, OH; 16 grandchildren, step grandchildren & adopted grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren & 1 great great grandchild; sister, Rhoda Gump of Hicksville, OH. She was preceded in death by a sister, Virginia Buzalski and two sons-in-law, Shurl Lechleidner & Stewart Tatro, and a granddaughter-in-law, Chris Lechleidner.

She was a DeKalb Eastern School Bus Driver for many years; a member of the Spencerville U. M. Church, United Methodist Women, Spencerville Community Quilters and the Spencerville Eastern Star. Jeanne enjoyed spending time with her family, doing plastic canvas projects, knitting & sewing. She knitted many afghans over the years and when she was shut in during the winter months, she sewed many lap blankets for the quilting group to knot.

Calling will be held on Monday, Dec. 7, 2015 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the Spencerville United Methodist Church in Spencerville, IN. Eastern Star Services will be held at 8 pm.
