Jason Warren Griggs "JW", 8, passed away on Saturday at his parent's home in St. Joe, IN. He was born in Ft. Wayne to Jason & Kasandra (Greenfield) Griggs.

Surviving are his parents, Jason & Kasandra Griggs of St. Joe; a brother, Michael Griggs of St. Joe; paternal grandparents, Warren & Lucy Griggs of St. Joe, IN; maternal grandparents, Ron & Deborah Greenfield of Waterloo, IN; maternal great grandparents, Paul & Zella Collins of Butler, IN; and many uncles, aunts & cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal great grandparents - Henry (Shon) Greenfield & Irma (Bill) Bump and his paternal great grandparents - Jacob & Anna Miller and Aubrey & Marguerite Griggs.

JW was in the 2nd grade at Riverdale Elementary School in St. Joe, IN. He loved to play Minecraft & Skylanders video games and being outside playing with his younger brother. He played T-ball for 2 years with the Riverdale Youth League before becoming ill. He was a very kind and polite little boy who loved giving hugs and kisses to everybody.

Calling will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2015 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at St. Joe Church of Christ (507 Jefferson St.) St. Joe, IN. Services will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2015 at 11 am with calling one hour prior at the church. Pastor Michael Booher officiating. Burial in Riverside Cemetery, St. Joe, IN.
