Janice Hollabaugh, 102, died Monday at The Laurels in Butler, IN. She was born on November 11, 1911 in St. Joe, IN to the late Derwood B. & Callie (Wineland) Ridgway. She married Maurice H. Hollabaugh on October 10, 1931 in Spencerville, IN. He preceded her in death on January 14, 1988.
Surviving are her sons, Ted (Nina) Hollabaugh of Spencerville; J. Thomas (Cheryll) Hollabaugh of St. Joe; James (Mary) Hollabaugh of Akron, OH; J. Parks Hollabaugh of Spencerville; her daughter, Margery Morgan of Omaha, NE; her daughter-in-law, Connie (Hollabaugh) Miles of Ft. Wayne; 18 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren & 2 great great grandchildren and many special nieces and nephews and devoted friends.
She was preceded in death by a son, Jack Hollabaugh; brother, John K. Ridgway; 2 sisters, June Baker & Jean Sicks; a daughter-in-law, Donna Hollabaugh and a son-in-law, Dave Morgan.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with friends and family.
As per her wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 28, 2013 at 11 am at St. Mark Lutheran Church in St. Joe, IN. Rev. Floyd A.
