James Swary, 67, went to be with Jesus on Saturday surrounded by his family. He was born in Paulding, OH to the late Leo F. Swary & Mary E. (Boyd) Swary Grush. He married Diana Judware on October 10, 1973 in the home they now live in.

Surviving are his wife, Diana Swary of St. Joe; daughters, Jeannette (Robert) Sturges of Auburn, Candy (Kris) Little of Butler, Brenda (Todd) Deskins of Shirley, Charlene (Chris) Wirsing of North Manchester, Nicole (Aaron) Rowe of Auburn; son, Tommy Highsby of Rockford, MI; brother, Michael Swary of Auburn; 20 grandchildren & 12 great grandchildren.

Jim owned & operated Swary Trucking for many years. He was a member of Souls Harbor Assembly of God Church in Auburn, IN. He loved to visit with people in the hospital and talk about Jesus. Jim loved to read his Bible. He loved to go to cattle shows & horse pulls.

Calling will be held on Monday, December 26, 2016 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at Souls Harbor Assembly of God Church (3810 CR 40A Auburn, IN). Services will be held on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at 1 pm with calling two hours prior at the church. Pastor David Snodderly officiating. Burial in Riverside Cemetery, St. Joe, IN.
