Ione "Toni" Henry, 97, passed away on Friday at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Ft. Wayne, IN surrounded by all her children. She was born in Allen County, IN to the late John Thomas & Grace (Rogers) Mettert on April 16, 1919, graduated from Harlan High School in 1937 and married Keith Vernon Henry on May 28, 1940. She lived and enjoyed life fully as a wife, mother and homemaker making the world a better place with her mere presence and many talents.

Surviving are a daughter, Rosemary Jo; two sons, Lynn & Dennis (Betty), four sisters, Lucille Richmond, Rosemary Mettert, Crystal DuWan and Sandra Martin; five grandchildren, Laura, Ritch, Michael, Angela, Andrew and four great grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her husband; parents; a sister, Margaret Moss and a brother, Jack Mettert.
