Harold G. Curie, 95, formerly of St. Joe, IN died Friday, February 23, 2024 at Parkview Huntington Hospital.  He was born on January 16, 1929 in Concord Township, St. Joe, IN on the family farm to the late Charles & Mildred (Gee) Curie Jarrett.  He married Emily Marie Shull on February 19, 1954 at Coburn Corners Church of Christ, St. Joe, IN and she preceded him in death on October 30, 2008.

Surviving are a son, Charles (Candance) Curie of Ft. Wayne; a daughter, Leota (Philip) Bauman of South Bend; grandchildren, Daniel (Pam) Rardin of Greenville, WI, Tina (Jimmy) Wingett of Fishers, step-grandson, Matthew Bauman of Lisle, IL; brother, Robert (Cynthia) Jarrett of St. Joe; sisters, Joan (Robert) Evans of Hicksville, OH, Janet Jackson of Warren and a sister-in-law, Mary Jane Curie of Grove City, OH.

He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Holly Rardin; brother, Carlton C. Curie and a brother-in-law, Paul Jackson.

Harold was a farmer, woodworker, worked 32 years as a Petroleum Truck Driver for DeKalb County Farm Bureau Co-op and was a Trustee of Alton Cemetery for 48 years.  He was a Korean War Army Veteran, a member & elder of Coburn Corners Church of Christ, St. Joe Class of 1946, VFW Life Member Post #15015, Disabled American Veterans Chapter 43, DeKalb County Farm Bureau Co-op and a past President of St. Joe Lions Club.

Calling will be held on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 from 4-7 pm at Coburn Corners Church of Christ (6813 CR 64 St. Joe, IN).  Services will be held on Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at 11 am with calling one hour prior at the church.  Pastor Larry Carter will officiate.  Burial in Alton Cemetery, St. Joe, IN.
